Hello, my name is Eric Linley. I have been in the butchering business and catering trade all of my life. I am a Master Butcher and worked for over 20 years at Leeds abbatoir. Needless to say there is nothing I don’t know about meat! After retiring from the Rythre Arms Steakhouse (which is still being run by my son and daughter-in-law) I started doing hog roasts in 2002.
I regularly provide catering at farmers markets, specialist food and drink events, summer fairs and corporate events. Additionally, I have had the pleasure of catering countless private parties, weddings and christenings.
The Hog Roast experience includes a whole, perfectly spit roasted pig, bread rolls, sage and onion seasoning and apple sauce. We use only the best quality locally reared pigs and fresh baked bread from our local baker. With skill and care we carve and serve the hog to your guests. We also provide paper plates and serviettes.
An average 50 kilo hog will feed up to 100 people. Our price for this is £550.00 (plus travel if you are a long way from Selby).
